Frequently, guests are invited to discuss research in progress. Topics have included COVID-19 in correctional settings, COVID-19 as it affects the elderly inside and outside of long-term care facilities, healthcare worker burnout, and COVID-19 as it affect precarious workers and our most vulnerable communities in Chicago and Illinois. These activities have led to new research collaborations, policy briefs, and op-eds.
