IGPA faculty in the discipline of health policy conduct and distribute research in areas of health care, health policy and health economics. They work collaboratively with faculty across the institute to produce educational and public engagement opportunities to discuss this research and health care issues that are of the greatest concern to government, such as access, quality, cost containment and subsidized care. Our faculty are nationally known experts in the areas of universal coverage, Medicaid, obesity and ethnic health care disparities.

IGPA's health policy faculty develop seminars, workshops and conferences that bring the nation’s top experts to the University of Illinois campuses to discuss the latest research in a variety of policy areas involving health care.
