Kathy Harrington Sullivan

Photo of Kathy HarringtonKathy Harrington Sullivan serves as a project coordinator and planner at IGPA. She assists in developing the institute’s public engagement activities and works on policy analysis projects for IGPA faculty.

Kathy joined IGPA in July 2009 after serving as deputy downstate director and then director of the downstate office for former Senator Barack Obama. She also worked in the office of the governor of Illinois and served as an intern for former U.S. Rep. David Phelps.

A native of Coles County and a graduate of Millikin University in Decatur, Kathy is pursuing a Master’s of Public Administration degree at the University of Illinois at Springfield.
