Global warming is the biggest challenge to face humanity. The local, regional, national, and international policy options available for addressing the issue are few, and most of them are not likely to command widespread enthusiasm. Coming to grips with climate change will require much more literacy about the problem than there currently is and extraordinary political leadership across all nations.
