•  The November Illinois Economic Review, produced by IGPA economist Geoffrey Hewings, shows Illinois lost 11,700 jobs in October, the largest monthly job loss of 2008. Illinois has lost 28,100 jobs so far this year. October was the fourth consecutive month of job losses in Illinois, and in the Rest of the Midwest and the nation as a whole.
